Agreement

For value received, the undersigned author(s) hereby grants to HCI Publications, Inc. (“HCI”), its successors and assigns, the rights to publish a submitted article or other material (“Material”) entitled:



Rights conveyed are for the exclusive first use of the Material in a periodical plus rights to reprint and to republish the Material in whole, in part, or in adaptations in periodicals, anthologies, collections of articles or other material, and the like, and to post the material on the Internet or in other electronic media. Author(s) also consents to the use of Author’s name and likeness.

In addition, the Author(s) conveys to HCI Publications the limited right to grant permissions to reprint/republish to others, on a case-by-case basis.

After first use by HCI, the Author(s) may reprint or republish the material for his/her/their own purposes.

Originality of Material

The Author(s) warrants that the Material submitted is original except for excerpts from copyrighted works, and if such excerpts are included, the written permission of copyright owners is provided. The Author(s) further warrants that the Material does not violate or infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, statute, common law, contract, or proprietary rights of others, or contain anything libelous and agrees to indemnify and hold HCI harmless against any loss resulting from the falsity of the foregoing representations.
